About Our Company
I designed Buggy Buddy for my
grandson when he was 5 months old. It became too inconvenient to take the
heavy car seat
out of the car and put it onto the shopping cart. I
wanted something soft to protect him and also give him a place to lay his
head
while taking his bottle or while taking a nap. I wanted a soft
comfortable belt to keep him from standing up, falling and being injured.
I wanted a cover for the shopping cart handle because that is the
first place his mouth would go.
My husband, Wally, and I operate TRJ & Associates Inc.,
names after our three children: Tenice, Rosemary,
James.
In the beginning I made all of the Buggy Buddys myself.
Wally did the packing and shipping. We still do the shipping,
but we
now have a manufacturer to make the Buggy Buddys.
Buggy Buddy is our only product and
we are extremely proud of it. According to the National Safety Council
more that 25,000
accidents occur each year involving shopping carts
resulting in 5,000 emergency room visits. We believe that Buggy Buddy
can be a major factor in reducing that
number to almost zero.
